Abundant blue–lavender spikes above minty licorice scented foliage from July until frost. 3'–4' upright form, drought tolerant, grows well in a range of soils. Tolerates severe summer heat.
Care Instructions:
Cut back 50% after first bloom to prevent woody flopping and encourage a new period of bloom. Full sun. Do not over–water.
Notes:
Attracts honeybees and butterflies.
Used by Native Americans as a sweetener for tea.
